New Archaic Theatre Company arose from the dark mists of Staffordshire as a small scale company in 2006 and despite the best efforts of the government and the Arts Council, we are still going strong. Operating from the south of England, New Archaic is dedicated to exploring relevant social and political themes through comedy, opening up otherwise esoteric subjects to wider audiences. we believe that humour is one of the most effective means of communication, before a baby is able to walk, talk or bomb far away cities it is able to laugh. Laughter is good for the heart, can help with diabetes, improves blood flow, increases immune response, aids sleep, and though it hasn't been proven yet, we suspect it may even turn lead into gold. Humour is our sixth sense, and the others, for all their merits, will not tell people why the chicken crossed the road. We are dedicated to nurturing upcoming talent and exploring new work.
